Creative Arts and Music

The music at Michelson is a highlight of our many programs. We are blessed to have many talented people participating in the music program which is coordinated by Jill Scarzo.

• Chancel Choir - Open to all adult and youth singers. Rehearses Wednesdays at 6 PM. The Chancel Choir sings in many of the Sunday services and performs in special concerts throughout the year. Directed by Jill Scarzo.

• Kids Choir - Under the leadership of Lorna Morse and Dr. Bill Cargo. This primary/elementary age choir sings monthly at the 11 AM service. Rehearsals are on Sundays at 10 AM.

• Handbell Choir - Directed by Barb Hunter with monthly performances. Rehearsals are on Tuesday at 6:30 PM .

• Praise Team - Leads worship at the 11 AM service. Open to capable vocalists and instrumentalists. Rehearsal is Sunday mornings at 10:15 AM.

Other musicians and musical groups such as the Michelson Singers, provide music for special occasions and enhance our worship services.
